toshiba utilities

Hello,

I am trying to install toshiba utilities onto my laptop, and I get this error message when i do ./configure:

configure:1071:27: X11/Intrinsic.h: No such file or directory
configure: failed program was:
#line 1070 "configure"
#include "confdefs.h"
#include <X11/Intrinsic.h>
configure:1151: gcc -o conftest -g -O2 -s conftest.c -lXt 1>&5
/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lXt
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
configure: failed program was:
#line 1144 "configure"
#include "confdefs.h"

I think i need confdefs.h, but where do I get it and where do I put it.

Thanks,

wait, I just realized that this file is in the same directory as the configure file. So why is it not finding it?

thanks,

Tis a while since I set mine up, but have you recompiled the kernel to include Toshiba support ?

Cheers,

Mike

It looks like you are missing the file Intrinsic.h, which should reside in your /usr/X11R6/include/X11 directory (or where ever X11 is hiding on your system), a "locate Intrinsic.h" should either not find anything, or should find it in a funky place.
You are also getting a linker error, the library Xt is missing (or not where the configurator expected it to be). locate libXt should help you out there.
It seems you may not have all of your X packages installed. I don't know distro what you are using, but you can always upgrade X11R6 by going to xfree86.org if you can't find the packages on your install disk. . .
