the problem started when I tried to move my repository from server A to server B. everything was working good on server A, but that's pretty much out of the picture now, so I'll only be talking about server B. both servers had the same login info and paths, but server A had svn version 1.3.0 and server B now has version 1.3.2 . I did a hotcopy to move the repository over, but I don't know if that could be the problem.

the problem is, when I try to do anything with tortoise, it just sits there and never does anything. it wont connect or give any errors. I have putty connecting without a problem, ssh with pageant loading the private key. I've tried reinstalling tortoisesvn on my windows 2000 machine. at this point, I'm pretty sure it is a problem with the server, but I'm not sure what it could be. I am using centos (open source red hat enterprise) on a vps. I'm kinda lost as to what to try next, so any help would be great.

fixed! the problem was someplace in the /etc/bashrc script. it's a file that comes with the centos distribution by default. I stopped it from loading with the ~/.bashrc script and everything's working :-D
