I am a noob and am about to make a switch to gutsy, but I am interested what
p2p client in GNU/Linux is the best. I know people have different flavors so I am interested in a lightweight, low CPU usage, a client where you can choose which files to download, something like uTorrent which I am currently using. I have read somewhere that Transmission is similar to uTorrent, but I want your help. Thanks.

I am a fan of ktorrent. It may not be light weight enough though. There are lots of choices. If you go into adept just search for torrent.

client, gnome, kde, mandriva, mplayer, p2p, torrent, ubuntu, xfce
