tool to extract text from various files with sql-queries??

Hi,

someone told me about the tool weeks ago but I cannot remember the name.
He said he uses it for logfiles so that the sql-quere only catches useful information.

Anyone know what I mean / can tell me the name??

Thanks anyway,

xomic
