I have compiled ffmpeg package on my PC. This package is a video player.
I run the program by typing ffplay in shell.
when I tried to run it, i got the following error:
bash : ffplay bad command.
although the executable file "ffplay" exists in /usr/local/bin?
I m using Linux SuSe 9.2
can anyone help me please?
thanks in advance

do you get an error when you run '/usr/local/bin/ffplay'? if not then you have to add this path (/usr/local/bin) to your $PATH variable. search here on how to do that if this is the case.
