Unhappy tomcat won't start anymore

hello folks,

I am having problem on starting my tomcat5 on SUSE 10.2. I installed tomcat about three weeks ago and it worked fine until today. Now I wanted to run it again but this time it just won't start. I don't think I changed anything. Everything is the same. But when I run the command this time:

# /etc/init.d/tomcat5 start
Starting Tomcat (/srv/www/tomcat5/base/) failed

I get the error above.

below is the contents of the start.log:
Quote:
Using CATALINA_BASE: /srv/www/tomcat5/base/
Using CATALINA_HOME: /usr/share/tomcat5
Using CATALINA_TMPDIR: /srv/www/tomcat5/base//temp
Using JAVA_HOME: /usr/lib/jvm/java
And this is the output of the last lines of catalina.out:
Quote:
Bootstrap: Class loader creation threw exception
java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: addRepositoryInternal: repository='file:/usr/share/tomcat5/common/lib/[javamail]imap-1.3.1.jar'

... 6 more
Anyone please help!!

thanks to everybody, I just solved the problem. Obviously the problem was in the web.xml file. There were some servlet names in the web.xml that do not even actually exist. So, I just revised the web.xml, and made sure that the information in the web.xml matches the servlets in the WEB-INF/classes; restarted the tomcat5 and it worked.
