tomcat user

hi everyone

I installed tomcat7 in mycentos6.8 server. i configured ssl in tomcat7 for port 443 instead of 8443 in server.xml file. but for this change i had to change TOMCAT_USER="tomcat" to "root".
for security reason it is better to run tomcat by tomcat user(not root user). i think in ubuntu we have mechanism named AUTHBIND.
how can i solve this security problem in centos6?thanks inadvance

...and is there a reason you can't use authbind on CentOS???
http://stackoverflow.com/questions/3...nd-on-centos-6

..or use cap_net_bind_service and point it towards the Tomcat executable. You've been here going on ten years now...did you try doing any research on this first?
