Tomboy Notes on Displays other than Zero?
I've been seeing this from the point I started using Tomboy notes, but wasn't sure if it was a bug or not, or if its the way it just works. Mainly asking just to see if anyone else sees this, or has a workaround for it.
I mainly use Tomboy notes on Display 0 (Gnome/Metacity). But there are times when I need to work remotely, and because of connection speeds, I want/need to use Display "x" (where x is non-zero) loading up xfce for something a little more lightweight. The problem, is that when I am not running on Display 0, I cannot edit/create notes within tomboy notes that are then seen by display 0. I can open tomboy notes, edit notes that I have previously edited, but then when I go back to Display 0, the notes aren't there or don't have the edits I added the previous day... Any ideas or workarounds?? - Besides using a vncserver to display 0... I've tried that and its just too slow. |
Anyone experience this?
