Does anybody know anything about virtual hosts with tomcat 4.1?

Apperantly documentation isn't jakarta's finer aspects. Of the documentation they do have, they obviously havn't tried it, or it's really old because it doesn't work like that anymore.

This is just driving me mad because I can't find a single set of 'standard' guidlines anywhere on the internet. I'm fairly positive nobody 'really' knows how to setup tomcat. I can make it work with a default install of mod_jk2, apache2 and tomcat 4.1. (please tell me I'm wrong)

Anyways I'm going nuts trying to setup virtual hosts if you couldn't tell. If only I had 250,000 dollars to buy a real jsp server from IBM.

I'm just starting with Tomcat 5.0 myself ... I don't have much of an advice to give .. but have you looked into documentation for Tomcat 5.0?
