To only disable a pacman package

How do we only disable a pacman package, not delete/remove it from filesystem ?
(as for good dependencies test)

What do you mean by "disable"?

I am not versed with Pacman, but I am not aware how packages can be disabled by other package managers like apt or yum.

Also, what do you mean by "good dependencies test"?

Also, what distro?

PS: by default, if you uninstall a package install, pacman keeps the package itself archived.
