To not have window in task bar when open?

I'm just wondering if there is any utility/panel that could be used so that when I have window open in desktop (mapped I guess) it wouldn't be in task bar and when iconified it would show in taskbar?

If there is such an utility or script it would be best for my use, but if there is any panel compatible with this kind of option that I can run in my Xfce then it's quite ok too. I think I have encountered that kind of bar a while ago.

Thanks.

kicker has an option to show minimized windows only in the window panel. I'm not sure, but I guess others might do that as well.

Yeah I remember it had that option. Is there any way of "extracting" that option from there or is it possibly available for some other bar, because I think that I can't extract kicker from its base.
