TMPFS $home/.local/share/TRASH gvfs? permission denied

Issue: Caja 1.18.3 (gentoo release) & eye of mate 1.18.2 refuse anything I set in my fstab regarding TMPFS for folder /home/roman/.local/share/Trash

I get a message similar if I want to bypass TRASH because it is not accessable. When I unmount TMPFS it works of course.

I assume it is some sort of permission thing, or GVFS issue maybe.
I also tried to enforce ownership of folder to user roman, or create those two subfolders each as TMPFS as user roman. I also tried the 777 permission mask, no idea why but caja and eom is messed up!

I do not want to bypass TRASH, as drag and drop is a nasty feature sometimes. I have honestly sometimes to press undo in caja. regardless if touchpad or my mouse is used.

This is just an improvement to reduce lint on future backups and on the disc. The rare case of power outage can be ruled out, as i have a laptop with 70% of battery capacity.

I use my tmpfs for downoads for quite a while, see also my post as a reference. I am used to such habit by now.

desktop environment i3wm + gentoo ~amd64 - openrc - eudev - kernel 4.9.7x gentoo-sources

I tried to tinker with this for some time by now.
Yesterday I used up a few hours with different attempts to get it done. I try to not ask when I am not stuck for a certain time.

my work habit explained, philosophy, skip this passage - partly off topic: Below is a small section of my /etc/fstab. You can see some working examples. I want to reduce my backups. I want to reduce time spent on deleting lint files. Lint files are in my point of view for example pdf files i open in google-chrome to look at. that pdf file is downloaded and kept in Downloads and never ever deleted. Same goes for eye of mate small pictures, afaik called thumbnails, which are created and never ever deleted. Or any winetricks downloaded crap which is just hidden from the user in a hidden directory in home which just fills up my drive. AFAIK downoad, start it, delete the installer was the spyware95 approach? or am i wrong? does anyone keeps his linux mint iso around? no because there will be a new one again. I also have now 20GiB of RAM. So RAM is not an issue for TMPFS. In regards of TRASH, I make now regularly backups when I think I changed too much or my backups are too outdated. I do not make backups of single files on an hourly basis. I make full backups every 2-4 weeks. Full backup means, change SSD into my notebook, grub2 install via sysrescue-cd and a working system is available! Only flaw, it depends on my notebook that the hardware except the SSD is fine.

# user roman Download Folder. TMPFS so I do not have to delted Downloads manually after a reboot
none /home/roman/Downloads tmpfs size=8G,noatime,nofail 0 0
# user roman thumbnails Folder. System is on a SSD. I want small backups and no lint.
none /home/roman/.cache/thumbnails tmpfs nofail,nodev,defaults,uid=2608,gid=1005 0 0
# user roman winetricks download Folder. System is on a SSD. I want small backups and no lint. Better download random winetricks again. I can not keep every possible download
none /home/roman/.cache/winetricks tmpfs nofail,nodev,defaults,uid=2608,gid=1005 0 0
# new entry for Trash folder. Temporarily files can be recovered until a reboot
#none /home/roman/.local/share/Trash tmpfs nofail,nodev,defaults,uid=2608,gid=1005,mode=777 0 0
#none /home/roman/.local/share/Trash tmpfs defaults,windows_names,uid=2608,gid=1005,dmask=000,fmask=000 0 0
as suggested in the past i also have viewnior also now on my box.
I could replace viewnior and remove eom.
there is still the case of caja.
I'm willing to dump caja when there is some sort of gtk based, maybe qt5 based (depends on the rat tail i need to pull in my system) file manager with similar look and feel. Which respects my TRASH TMPFS folder
Mounting is done by hand by myself as superuser.

There may be a way to configure caja, but I prefer to leave the internals as is. and not replace the trash folder with /tmp folder. as it seems several software components uses that trash folder

Because I do not use a "proper" desktop environment I saw for several years not lint files lying around on my desktop. Desktop is just another stupid spyware95 folder which the software guys copied from spyware95 or macos or wherever the real origin is (up to discussion)

Well you see on caja and eye of mate, that I was in the past a happy gnome 2 user. these are the last bits of it

I do use the shell also, and mc. For some reason I am too used to that caja file manager which may be similar to the spyware95 file manager I am used to the most. I used a pentium 120mhz - 128Mib RAM with suse 6.2 & redhat and windows 95 (later 98) for much longer than the average guy.

RANT: I hate recent 3 years in regards of linux software to dump "temporary files" not in /tmp where they belong to, no they dump it in
.XY folder

edit: Fixed some wrong word order of sentences. exchanged a few words
