/tmp/mcop-xxxxx is accessible owned by user

[schrock@schrock321 schrock]$ k3b

/tmp/mcop-schrock is accessible owned by user
[schrock@schrock321 schrock]$

I get this all the time. It has always done this to me even right after I installed (redhat 9.0) Its really annoying. k3b and konqueror mainly do this to me, sometimes both as root and user. Can anyone offer any solutions for this?

Thanks,
AD

Me too

I have the same problem, as you said it effects K3B but also at start up it says there is a problem with the sound server. My MP3 player works fine once in KDE. Im running an FTP install of Suse 9.0.
I think it all started when I was fiddling arround with user groups when I got a DVD burner (NEC 2500).
