tkcvs pops up blank warning message (mandrake10)

My TkCVS (ver 7.1.2) works fine - EXCEPT when I try to browse a folder that is added to CVS!!! I can browse where/what I want, but as soos as I browse to a CVS source folder, a blank message with title "TkCVS Warning!" pops up. After that, I can only kill TkCVS, since nothing else works.

It worked fine with Mandrake 9.2, but does the aforementioned on Mandrake 10.
