Tipical n00b question help!!


Hey, i realy want to learn more on linux, i have used basic linux, but its not enough for me, i would realy like somthng that i can download that is under 30 megs. So i want it small, but i want to be able to use it to browse the web/aim/ect. My computer is a pentium 150MHZ:-(
32 megs of ram :-(
2 gig hard drive :-(

i want somthin small cause i have 56k :-( lol
i dont want to made another partition on my hard drive, cause it wont let me.
So please help me, and thanks in advance

Oh i forgot to add, that i dont have a cd-rom drive, kinda abummer

So, what you have is a very old box. And from what you said about not partitioning, I would think that what you want probably is a floppy bootable linux distro? Am I right. If so, then there are some linux distro's available on floppies (I don't exactly know, search the forum), and I think you will be satisfied.

go to http://www.distrowatch.com and look it there....

I remember seeing a distro called damn small linux.....that I think is under 50 megs and can be copied to floppies......read the docs on it though.
