I'm trying to set up Apache on my Fedora Core 5 box.
I thought I did everything correctly until I opened a webpage and put in the name www.amrphptest.dyndns.org
Up pops Tiny Turbo Throttling webserver... Hmmm, where O where did apache go?
How did you install apache?
Are you sure you didn't download thttpd by mistake?
Are you sure amrphptest.dyndns.org points to the box you installed apache on?
This is what I did to resolve the issue. Apparently, when I installed apache I also installed the other.
[you@localhost ~]$ su -
Password:
[root@localhost ~]# service thttpd stop
Stopping thttpd: [ OK ]
[root@localhost ~]# service httpd start
Starting httpd: [ OK ]
[root@localhost ~]
Then disable thttpd in "System" > "Administration" > "Server Settings" > "Services" for runlevels 5 and 3.
