Tiny alternative to ZGV (display image on fbdev/tty console)?

Hello,

To display an image on fbdev (tty console) there is FBI/FBG which are pretty heavy solutions.

ZGV was in the past, and is now history.

Is there a possible, ideally coded in C on libpng-dev and libjpg-dev, and that can display an image of the console?

thank you

FIM says it is lightweight, but I never tried any fbdev image viewer.
