Timidity++ doesn't work

Hi,
I just installed TiMidity++ v. 2.13.0 from source. The only problem is that it doesn't work. When i run it, this is what happens...

Code:

mark@darkstar:~/downloads/TiMidity++-2.13.0$ timidity -ig
xgmap.cfg: No such file or directory
timidity: Can't read any configuration file.
Please check /usr/local/share/timidity/timidity.cfg

After that, I checked an saw that there is no /usr/local/share/timidity folder.
This is how I installed it...

Code:

$ ./configure --enable-audio=alsa,oss,arts,esd,vorbis --enable-interface=motif,gtk --enable-network --enable-spectogram
$ make
$ su
$ checkinstall

You haven't installed any voice data.

You missed out the last step (the section just above comments at the end of the file).

Ok,
I'm going to download RealFont 2.1 from http://realfont.no-ip.com .
I'll try to get it to work.
