timidity.cfg syntax error in first line...

This here is puzzling.
Running xu4, every time it tries to play a midi file it gets an error saying the /etc/timidity.cfg is not there.

I know midi support came with the kernel so I look for "timidity.cfg" and find it in /usr/share/kmidi/config/ so I copy this to /etc

Now I get a syntax error in line 38

Line 38 is an if statement - it just says "if 0" and everything seems in order.

I can only imagine that xu4 expects a different config file here. Anybody know anything about this.

Simon
