robmainella Member Registered: Aug 2003 Posts: 30 Rep:	time out while wating for response from smtp server Hey guys, I've been having a ton of problems with sendmail. I finally got the problem fixed with relaying, now i get a message saying that "...timed out waiting for response from sending (SMTP) server." Port 25 is open on both the server and the router. My DNS server points mail.example.com to the IP address from my ISP (not the IP address of the server). Does anyone have any suggestions? Also any idea why I can't send to Hotmai accounts?
