Tildes in OpenOffice

Hi people,

When I'm using OpenOffice (and only OO) I can't write "tildes over vowels", hehe well I don't know to call it, it's something we have in spanish to help with pronunciation like:

I've looked for keyboard settings but it looks like everything is ok. Can it be something like those chars are not included in the fonts? Is there any tool like the character map so I can find out?

insert -> special character.

The accented letters work for me (danish keyboard, Bitstream Vera font, ooo 1.1.2, RH9). Can you get the accented letters in other applications (xterm, emacs...)? What keyboard settings do you have?

Hej Ott,

hehe it's nice to find a dane from time to time (I lived in Aalborg for some time)

The accented letters work perfectly in the rest of the software (well now that I check it except in the terminal, but it's ok because they're not very useful there).

In Desktop Preferences/Keyboard, I chose Spanish layout, and in OO everywhere I could choose spanish I did

Tusind tak skal du have!!
