Post TightVNC and vncviewer

Hello.
In a local network we use "IDEAL administration" tool for make a remote control on Windows client. This tool use "TightVNC" and installed it on a remote client. Can I use vncviewer for make a remote connection to clients?
Any idea?

Tnx.

Yes.

Like this:

Code:
erik@mycomputer:~$ vncviewer 192.168.0.99
The ip address is the remote computer you want to connect to.

You can also use krdc. It has gui features to scale the window, have bookmarks and other features. I use both.

The problem is that the tightVNC service not running by default and :

$ vncviewer IP
vncviewer: ConnectToTcpAddr: connect: Connection refused
Unable to connect to VNC server

Do you not have access/authority to start it or to ask someone to start if for you?
