TightVNC
I have a few questions ... frist this is my first experience with Linux, trying redhat 9 and i love it once i get the hang of it my XP pc is gone... first.. i have installed tightvnc and got it running with the vncserver command, i can connect to it from my xp pc but the screen is all grey with the mouse x and thats it.
second.. is there any way to put tightvnc in startup or get it to start as a service or do i have to login and start it then? Also i am installing NO-IP.com just to make it easier to find because of the bell sympatico always changing my ip, any advice about that ? Thanks everybody. |
add your command to the end of /etc/rc.d/rc.local, or
you could add the command in as a service in /etc/init.d, an make symlinks to the appropriate runlevels, but the rc.local thing is easier. |
