Smile Thunderbird troubles


Hi Iam having trouble with Thunderbird when creating profile. it won,t let me create at default. I get a error message I have to use a different folder. i create it do the prefences thing download my email. Everything looks good, I exit thunderbird. I start thunderbird but there is no profile listed, I have to go and do create a profile all over again. what am i doing wrong?

Mike, maybe you should just delete the files in your home directory and start again. Let it build the default profile by itself. Usually this happens when you already have one instance of Mozilla/TBird open and you start another one.. Sometimes it goes crazy.
