Thunderbird, Fedora 5, Enigmail
 
When trying to using Enigmail for thunderbird, i get this error...

Enigmail: Enigmime Service not available

To permanently avoid this alert, either fix the problem or uninstall Enigmail using the OpenPGP->Preferences menu

Do not show me this dialog again


i enabled the logs to find.

has anyone seen this problem, or know whats wrong?

Did you installed on a standard build of thunderbird taken from mozilla website ? If not, read the notes. You might have to compile enigmail/enigmime yourself or use a package provided by your distribution.

Anyway, it looks like the enigmime package (needed by enigmail and normally installed with the extension) is not available for some reason (probably an incompatibility).
