Thunderbird as XFce mailcheck applet client?

for my "Mail command", I have "thunderbird" and for the "Mail box:" I have "/home/Rob/.thunderbird/default.g4z/Mail/Local Folders"

Use startup notification is checked, and the interval is 30 seconds.

Does anyone know if you can use Thunderbird with the mailcheck applet for XFce4?
