Thunderbird after distro change

I recently switched from OpenSUSE to Ubuntu, largely to make things consistent with my netbook running Ubuntu 9.10 Netbook Remix

I replaced the / partition but left /home intact

I was wondering how to make Thunderbird use the profile already established rather than set up a new one?

SOLVED - copied /home/user/.thunderbird directory to /home/user/.mozilla-thunderbird
