Thunderbird-31.3.0

Was trying to build the new TB release this morning using the SlackBuild script from 31.2.0. The build runs for a while and then dies with the following error -

mozbuild.base.ObjdirMismatchException: Objdir mismatch: /tmp/comm-esr31/obj/mozilla != /tmp/comm-esr31/mozilla/obj

Not sure what the cause is. Running Slack64-current, gcc-4.9.2.

Has anyone seen this before (got no hits on Google)? Any ideas what the cause might be??

Reproduced here. Cause is a change upstream, see https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1040009
If you don't set objdir, at least build should complete.

You may also want to take a look how Fedora handles that, as it seems to work for them:

Thank you for the reply. I tried the Fedora fix but alas the problem remains. Can you please tell me the objdir to set? I'm not really sure where it is supposed to be. Something like "export MOZ_OBJDIR=???". Just not sure where ??? is. Thanks again.

Ah, now a moot point. Slackware has published a build script. Thanks again for your reply.

FWIW, you should not use an environment variable to set MOZ_OBJDIR
I've opened a new bugreport, see the recommendation from upstream: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1106883#c4
