Thumbnail viewing program

Hi all,

Just curious if anyone knows of a good program that I can use to view thumbnail images that I download to my computer from my digital camera. Ideally, I'd like to download them to a folder of my choosing and then have the application open all image files in the folder in order for me to delete those I don't want. Any ideas?

Thanks.

Have a great weekend.

GThumb works well.

Use gphoto2 (www.gphoto.org) to download from your cam and Danpei to look at in thumbnail image format. And you have a good weekend, ya weasel!

If you would like to kill 2 birds with one stone, there is a program called gtkam(I think it uses gphoto) which allows you to preview the pictures while they are still on the camera, then decide which ones you want to download.

I use it on my canon powershot A60, but I think it has support for a lot of digital cameras. In the version I have, you cannot upload images to, or delete images from certain cameras though. Other than that, I haven't had a problem yet. Hope this helps.

That's it!!

Ok, Druisgod, them's fightin' words. I'm coming over this cubicle wall and I'm going to land right on your desk and rain on your parade. You have to sleep some time, pal, and when you do, well, just watch out mister. I might be so inclined to put salt water on your Bonsai tree or, worse yet, I'll have a certain cods cube denizen break out his world-famous posterior just for your viewing pleasure!!! So there! Hmmpppffff! :tisk:

My penguin is bigger than your penguin too! :D
