Question thre's a problem facing me in the openoffice

Hi all
yesterday someone in the office write something in a openoffice writer, and he called me to fix a problem when i see it i find that the page he had wrote in opened with openoffice template, and i found that most of the key's in diffrant tabs are dimed(dissabled) there is no save as or something.
i want to know why it appeares in the template, and what can i do when something like that appeares again
and if u tell me some info about what's template and what it's used for i,ll thank u soooooooooooooooooooo much

probably because he ran it from the menu items where there's this link that says OpenOffice From Template. or he could have done the autopilot in OO's File menu. if you don't want this to happen again, but a nice shortcut on the desktop pointing to /path_to_OO_install_dir/program/swriter
but in actuality, you shouldn't be letting others use your account. you should set up a generic users account (like guest or something) so they don't mess up settings in your account.

templates are used to save you time. like you can have a base template of the layout for a resume where all you have to do is to fill in the info.
