Question ThizLinux

I installed ThizLinux (unattended). When I returned it was at a prompt for user name and password. I did not set a root username and password. What are the defaults?

there is no root username... the username for root IS root... and if you did not specify a password, it *should* just let you leave it blank and press Enter.

I tried "root" with no password. It returned "invalid user name". In the installation process, would it have prompted me to enter a User Name and Password?

What do you mean by unattended?
If you did a network unattended install it either has the password of the server that you installed it from or look in the script that drives the install and you should find the password there.

About all I can suggest is to start the install over again. You apparently have nothing to lose as this has never been used yet. Just stick around for the install this time (yes I know it's boring) and get more information.

Read the LQ Rules. You've re-opened threads that have been closed for FIFTEEN YEARS, and double-posted the same question. Neither are good.

Last update was 15 years ago. No website; no images, and it won't run on modern hardware.
