Thin client/dumb terminal?
ok, I have a few 486's lying around at work and would like to use them as thin clients (not sure what they would be called in linux, likely the same) to log into a KDE session on a RH8 server. No looking for anything to be used or processed locally except floppy. ANyone have experience in this? The 486's currently have vector linux installed if that helps. Thanks in advance

The howto is a bit old but should
still do the trick :) http://www.tldp.org/HOWTO/Thinclient-HOWTO.html Cheers, Tink |
