theres a missing library!

when I try to start abiword (and a number of other programs) from the fluxbox menu, nothing hapens. when I type the command "abiword" into rxvt, i get the message:

Quote:
abiword: error while loading shared libraries: libpangoxft - 1.0.so.0: cannot open shared object file: no such file or directory.
i think this means that i need "libpangoxft",

Does anyone know where to get "libpangoxft" in source form? cause im in slack and I dont have, nor do I want to have RPM.

PS. my slack CD is flawed, the part that is suposed to have that library is not showing up with it, so i need it off the web.

http://rpm.pbone.net/index.php3?stat...rch=pango&dist[]=1&dist[]=2&dist[]=3&dist[]=4&dist[]=5&dist[]=6&dist[]=7&dist[]=8&dist[]=9&dist[]=10&dist[]=11&dist[]=12&dist[]=13&dist[]=14&dist[]=15&dist[]=16&dist[]=17&dist[]=18&dist[]=19&dist[]=20&dist[]=21&dist[]=22&dist[]=23&dist[]=24&dist[]=25&dist[]=26&dist[]=27&dist[]=28&dist[]=29&dist[]=30

this is the closest i could find
and i'm not 100% sure it's the right file
but
the file you need is part of the ximian system
i can find NO reference to source files for libpangoxft

but did find this
it's the source files for pango-gtk-beta

hope it helps

Go to a Slack mirror and grab 'pango-1.2.1-i386-2.tgz' (9.0) or 'pango-1.2.5-i486-1.tgz' (9.1 but should also work). If you've got a busted CD and can download another copy, you might want to do that, as you may get other errors from other messed up stuff.
