i know what i will say will not the a great help to you but still,
i have read couple of times before that potoshop runs on wine.

I'm currently using WineXCVS cedega. CS8 fails before installing saying it must be installed on a Win* machine.

Instead i've had no problems with Photoshop 7. Works well.

same here man ...
i make some thing in gimp now
and is very same to photoshop just need to understand their where is every button ...
so anyway i thing gimp fine ... thank you all in anyway
i sugguest you gimp in linux and not photoshop

I've switched for Gimp for two weeks. I'm a little lost (after 8 years of photoshop). But in a few weeks Gimp will sure replace Photoshop on my box.
