I DON'T WANT TO GO BACK TO WINDOWS
so I hope the people here aren't getting annoid with me

my next questing id, stupidly, how to get themes on kubuntu

I download a KDE3.2+ theme, GDM theme, and theme-manager them from kde-look.org.
I open the The,e Manager, ckick Install New Theme, drag the tarball to the path, click install. Then it shows up in my list. Bu when I click the theme, I get no preview, and I can't use it.

My other problem is that it won't let me delete a theme from my list.

Any help for a linux shouldn't-be?

Can you just feed tarballs to the theme manager? Maybe you have to unpack them somewhere first. Also if the theme manager doesn't work you might want to try and find out the place it's keeping the themes. For me my themes are in /usr/share/ and then there's a folder for every window manager I have. If you've found it go in the directory and then untar the tar.gz file like this:

"tar zxvf file.tar.gz"
