The softwares I'm looking for

Hello,

I've been running Suse Linux for a couple of years now, but there are still some softwares or functionalities I miss:

- The ability to rotate a picture in firefox, without having to save it first to the disk
- A Kooka-like program, to scan documents AND to edit them right away, using the same program (Kooka does not offer many editing options from what I've seen)
- A way to preload firefox while KDE is starting for the first time
- A desktop applet to read RSS news (without using SuperKaramba, which is very unstable on my system): Akregator is a great piece of software, but I'm looking for something like a window that would always remain on the desktop letting me read news anytime I want (just like Karamba in fact)
- I have a problem with msn through Kopete: all my transfers, including webcam streams, are limited to a few KB/s but when using the official msn messenger client in windows, I am able to reach top speed. How can I solve that?
- A stable driver for my WUSB54g (v4): I've used the atheros drivers from serialmonkeys but they are very unstable (I have to reboot my system 1hour after having plugged the usb dongle). ndiswrapper does not meet my needs, for I'm looking for a driver that allows monitor mode.

Any ideas you guys?

Thank you

Jajamd

Try knewsticker, that pretty much describes what you're looking for there.
