The Rolling reboot
When I left Windoze behind I sighed a sigh of relief that all my woes are behind me.
One however seems to have followed me. The Rolling[continuous reboot] when closing down or hibernating the system will immediately reboot How can I get over that one please. |
A thread you might want to look at MAYBE.

I have marked this one to investigate. I am a Newbie and coding is new to me so I guess I will into fun and games here. My system is 10.10 though I notice most of the other threads ar relating to 11.4/10 |
Open a terminal & see if this command works.

Another note is that when I was running Ubuntu 10 I had problems with the gnome powerbutton applet, if you right-click on it and select "About Gnome powerbutton applet there is a website that lists the bugs and solutions My workaround was to create or add shutdown to my menu under "System" but you have to create the command for the new menu item. the 1 that I used was gnome-session-save --shutdown-dialog. http://openbox.org/wiki/Help:GNOME/Openbox http://www.cyberciti.biz/tips/linux-...dlauncher.html |
