I am using PCLinuxOS (rolling version). On 14/06/2021 I updated using synaptic and rebooted the system and gave user credentials, but the moment GUI to show up, the screen becomes blank with mouse cursor and volume active. I can get terminal using ctrl+alt+T. Gave command "sh-5.1# startx" - but no success. As attachment is disabled, I shall write the error messages:

If this server is no longer running, remove /temp/.X0-lock
and start again

This is error message I got. Hope that some could give hints to resolve the issue.
