The akonadi personal information manager is not operational
 

I am using Linux Mint. When I tryto open korganizer i get this message:
"The akonadi personal information manager is not operational"

Where do I go from here?

I have seen mention of an "Akonadi Self-Test Report"; but not of how to start it.
