Text too small and too big in Firefox?!

This is really strange. The big text is too big and the small text is too small in my Linux Firefox browser. Does anyone know what this problem could be, or which settings would put me on standard text sizes?

Go to Edit, Preferences, General, and then click on Fonts & Colors. Also with KDE Control Center you can adjust other font sizes.

I did that but it still looks a bit strange. When I make the text big everything looks cluttered. I'm an ex-Windows user so I'm kind of used to a certain look. I was wondering if there was a certin font or style or something I could switch to so I could have that look in Linux.

I think you need the fonts Helvetica, Arial, Times New Roman and Tahoma. If you dont have these then try choosing fonts which already look good in Linux.. like FreeSans etc.

There is a very good post by LQ member Franklin right here http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...hreadid=257705
on fonts which IMHO should be a mandatory browser bookmark.

Mad.

Thanks a lot of the suggestions so far. :)

Is there a popular fonts package somewhere that I could install?
