Text to Speech to Mp3 ( Or any other CD Burnable Format)

I am trying to convert Text to Speech which would automatically be saved in a Mp3, Wav, Ogg or any other type of format that could then be transfered to a CD. Does anyone have any suggestions of such a program. If it is command line then that would be even better because I am hoping to do batch processing.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

this is a guide for creating your own audio books which should do everything you need, I read it a while ago and am not interested in reading all of it again so if it ends up in .wav then all you need to do is use mplayer or some other program to convert it to mp3 or ogg or whatever which should be easy enough hopefully this will give you all the information you need obviously ignore anything having to do with portage or emerge and just install it manually
