Text Editor For Kde ??

Hi there,
I'm a Linux Newbie ..
So please, have patiance with me ...

I am looking for a text editor for KDE,
I used to have EditPadPro on my windozer,
and I like to find something like it ....

SOmething with hotkey integration and multiple tabs...
At school I often use 5-10 different documents at the time,
so it would be nice to have som "tabs"
kwrite doesn't support that

I don't know what kind of hotkey intergration you are looking for, but if you definitely need a tab capable editor, try GEdit.

Sure gedit is for gnome but if you have gnome installed you can use gedit with kde.
Try KEdit its almost exactly like Gedit. Also I would suggest looking at kword.

WindowsBurner

PS : I'm not trying to insult with my sig.
