text-based browser
Hi.... Do u know any good text-based browser???
Lynx, Links - either, or - both are good. And either one probably comes with your distro disks.
there are a few variations of links to be aware of, notabkle elinjks and links2. I am pretty sure they all use ncurses.
... or, if you run emacs, w3m, w3-mode and w3m-mode. Of course, you can also just use netcat and read the html ;-)

w3m is good - it can also render frames which lynx and links dont seem to like doing.
But you don't need to run or know emacs to use it. I'm a vim man myself ;) |
