Techsmith(tscc) codec in linux?

I have some avi's encoded in this format and I'd like to quit restarting to windows just to play them(they're tutorials that I use every day). Anyone know a way to play them in linux?

maybe you need the divx codecs. do you have divx4linux installed?

edit: nevermind. that didn't work. i do have the tcssvid.dll though but i tried a tcss file and it didn't work. so ignore. but i only tried some at this site -> http://translate.google.com/translat...UTF-8%26sa%3DG
but it looks like these don't work with the mplayer codec (tsccvid.dll) either.

yeah, sorry. i don't know much about this tcss format, but i guess you could try looking into either wine to see if the player you use to view this is in windows is supported or maybe look into one of those virtual pc emulators like vmware to run windows in linux (or vice versa).
