teamviewer 6/7 on slax, wine as root, on slax 64 build

i know it's known that wine should not run as root, but because slax is special, can it be done?

attempting to run teamviewer 6 on slax, but teamviewer complains not to use as root.

i'm guessing it's wine complaining about root, but any way to override this?

this is slax 7.0.2

i've tried teamviewer 7 on slax, but that fails right away. (nothing actually happens. seems the binary is not friendly with slax.)

Why would you use Wine in the first place? Teamviewer has a native Linux version: https://www.teamviewer.com/en/download/linux.aspx

they don't have linux native files.

also, found out i needed glibc x32 to start it up, but found other issues ;/

i know i'm starting it wrong, but they may of not packed it all correctly...

You are right, it seems that they pack up Wine with Windows binaries. Have you tried running the scripts that come in that tar-ball (tv-setup and after that teamviewer)?
In any way, you seem to be missing essential dependencies, libSM and zlib, both of them of course in the 32 bit version. If you don't have a 32 bit Slax available you might want to try to download the corresponding multilib packages from AlienBob and extract them into your system (I don't know if SLAX is still compatible with Slackware packages).
