tcptrack wrongly shows no activity

hmmmmm... tcptrack looked like it should be a no-brainer to use. However, I did this:

Code:
sudo tcptrack -i wlan0
... and the interface pops up in the terminal, showing status "unpaused, unsorted" -- so I suppose it should be showing TCP connections, but nothing comes up: "Connections 0-0 of 0." I have it running now while posting this, but somehow it doesn't pick up the fact that Firefox is communicating with this website...?

Ubuntu 10.04 amd64, installed tcptrack (version 1.3.0) by "sudo apt-get install tcptrack."

I must be missing something, but I've no idea what.

TIA,
James

hi

maybe it's busy resolving IP addresses into hostnames? try to use -n switch. Also, try to upgrade the version. Mine, in Mint 9 (which is equivalent to Ubuntu 10.04) has 10.04 in its repo.

No -n switch... looks like a version upgrade is in order, then.
