TCL/TK installation for amsn

i have down loaded the tk8.5 and also tcl 8.5
i unzipped with following command
zcat tk8.0.5.tar.tar |tar xvf -
i have both of them un compressed in my /usr

now i dont know how to install
there isnt any Install script that i can use as following

so how would i install them and after that what i will have to do
i m doing this to run amsn
i have installed amsn but whn i double click it it doesnt show any error message and also doesnt run

so tell me what do do more

Just a wild guess, perhaps you can try these:

cd to tk8.5 and also tcl 8.5 directories and run these commands:-

1 ./configure
2 make
3 make install
