task bar removed in open suse 11.1


hi all,

im using open suse 11.1 and i mistakenly removed the task bar which has the gecko on it (start button). i can not bring it back i have looked everywhere and can not find any info on how to bring it back from various searches online. please help

Press Alt-F2 to open the Run Command dialog, type kicker and run it. If you're using KDE version 4, the command to launch the panel is plasma (not kicker). Not sure about that, anyway. I'm still using KDE 3.

ok i acctually switched to kde 3 now and i find this much better to use. i hate nautilus or what ever that icon is called in the upper right hand corner. i did not know kde 3.5 was in this installation until i go to other during the install. thanks so much for your support
