Is there a reason why you chose not to install from rpms?

Hi,

When you download the source code of a program, the usual way install it is to go through: ./configure, make, make install (as root).
Anyway in your case you can get the rpm package of xvidcap for your Fedora 11, from here: 32 bit, or 64 bit

Regards
