Taking CVS snapshot

This question is really dump, but I wan't to know where does the cvs store the files it downloads when I order it to take a snapshot. I'm trying to build fairly standard ffmpeg from snapshot, but I haven't used the cvs before and can't find the files I just downloaded.

I took snapshot by writing cvs -z9 -dserver:anonymous@mplayerhq.hu:/cvsroot/ffmpeg co ffmpeg and cvs updated a whole bunch of files, but where did they go?

A folder named ffmpeg should have been created in your working directory.
